Leading
- A vote to replace the choir room HVAC was taken via email prior to this meeting. The expenditure was approved, and the unit will be installed on August 21, 2025.
- The Transition Team researched companies to assist in the rebranding process for the Federated church. They chose Artspeak Creative. ALC’s Church Council will vote by August 26 on whether they would like to use Artspeak and split the $25,000 cost.
Curt Hansen put forward a motion to approve the use of Artspeak and approved the cost of $12,500. Winston Vineyard seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved.
- A discussion was held regarding the 3 Leadership Board members who are rolling off at the end of the year. The three members who are scheduled to roll off, all agreed to remain on the Leadership Board until the Federation is finalized. A motion to maintain the current Leadership Board was unanimously approved.
- The September 16 board meeting will be canceled and replaced with the Leadership Retreat, which is on September 19 and 20.
- Church Conference has been scheduled for November 25 at 5pm.
