Leadership Board Reports

Per the NSUMC Guiding Principles, we are making a summary of our monthly Leadership Board meeting available to the public.  A summary with meeting minutes will be made available within two (2) weeks of the meeting.

NSUMC Leadership Board Communication Form

As the Leadership Board works with the congregation to increase two-way communication, we are offering the following form to further our effort.  As always, questions and comments can still be addressed to any member of the Leadership Board directly, but we also suggest the following form as others in the congregation may benefit from reading a Q&A.  We welcome comments, suggestions, etc. as we continue to seek more open pathways.

NSUMC Guiding Principles

Our permission-giving policies, procedures, and practices that protect and allow the ministry of our church to function on a day-to-day basis within healthy boundaries.  This is a living, breathing document that guides our church ministry under the Simplified Accountable Structure (SAS), while adhering to The United Methodist Church’s Book of Discipline (BOD).  Only the Leadership Board has the authority to establish, remove, or modify a Guiding Principle.
