Pastor David and his family are on vacation through October 19. Call the church office with any pastoral care needs. Keep the Rennicks in prayer for safe travels as they rest and make fond memories.
All are invited to join with us on October 6 at 10 a.m. on Zoom. The seven-week study will conclude November 17 with an in person class at the church, followed by lunch at Grayhawk.
The book we have selected is Words of Life: Jesus and the Promise of the Ten Commandments Today. It is available in various formats and from Cokesbury, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon, to name a few resources.
We will be taking turns as facilitators and different members have volunteered for these roles for this study. We hope you will joins us! To be added to the Zoom group list or with questions, please contact Gail Yates by phone or text at 480-363-5063 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to great times together.
This coming Sunday September 26th after 2nd service we will be having our Unit Meeting in the Fellowship Hall. UMW is providing lunch from Jason's Deli. We will be ordering boxed lunches. Please make a reservation with Cindy Bryant to order a lunch. We will be discussing Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes. Remember, if you would like to send a check for a box, it is $29 per box or you can pay that at the meeting. If you would like to make a box, we will have them available at our meeting. The shipping cost of $9 will need to be put in your box.
We are also hoping to collect our pledges for the year if you have not given that to us yet. Your pledge is to support women and children throughout the year locally, nationally and throughout the world. The amount you pledge is for you to decide. We will look at a video of where our money goes for UMW.
