The Wednesday morning Bible study will return in-person beginning on September 14th at 10:00am at NSUMC. The study will consist of three units focused on rescue, justice, and faithful conversations.
This fall, our Bible lessons follow the theme of “Freedom.” The lessons explore the concept of salvation and God’s gracious acts in redeeming us. They challenge we who have experienced God’s gracious salvation to work for freedom and justice on behalf of others. They acknowledge that as we do, we will encounter those whose beliefs and values are different from our own, so they encourage us to remain faithful to our beliefs while we act as neighbors to others.
The physical book can be purchased here. Kindle editions are available from Amazon.
The donation bin for the prison will only accept magazines moving forward, as they are downsizing their library. If you have book donations, please use the donation box in the parking lot near the entrance off of Scottsdale Rd.
There will be a Potluck Lunch following the worship service on Sunday, August 28th in order to celebrate and welcome Pastor Christopher and family to NSUMC. Please reach out to Wavalee McArtor if you wish to sign up to bring something!
