Ministries to the Homebound
Sometimes lifelong United Methodists who have worshiped and served in the church for years move to our area, but find themselves no longer able to attend church. This ministry extends the community of Christ to them.
While our homebound members may not be able to worship with us in the sanctuary, they are still an important part of our community. We are pleased to offer these ministries to our homebound brothers and sisters in Christ.
Home Communion - A volunteer brings Holy Communion to our homebound members. The pastors bless the elements in our Sunday worship services and extend the Lord's table to those who need it.
Friendly Visitors – Our Congregational care team, under the leadership of our Pastor of Visitation, Leah Bergstrom, visits with our homebound members.
We thank God for these opportunities to extend Christ’s love.
