Baptism is a sacrament ordained by Christ and represents the beginning of a lifelong process of growing in Christ. It’s an initiation into the Body of Christ, and the church, and joins the person baptized with Christians everywhere.
United Methodists baptize babies, children, and adults. The baptismal ceremony takes place as a part of the Sunday worship service with family and the congregation present to welcome the newly baptized into the Christian family and is offered most Sundays. When you are ready to baptize your child or yourself the pastors will meet with you to plan this celebration. Please fill out the information sheet by either clicking on the button below or downloading the form and turning it in to the office.
