Things are already in the works for the 2011-2012 School Year. After talking with many of the youth, youth volunteers and parents, we have decided that it’s time to change the way we do UMYF, again. We hope that the newly proposed schedule will offer some of what everyone is looking for and help keep our youth connected to one another, the church and the world around them. Beginning when school is back in session (a detailed calendar will come out by the end of Summer) the UMYF schedule will be as follows:
Sunday Nights: 5-6 pm- Junior High Small Group at the Youth House
Monday Nights: 7-8 pm- Senior High Small Group at Starbucks
Once a month: All youth activity of some kind, each month will be different.
The theme for the youth will also be slightly different. The Junior High Youth will be focusing on ―Behind the Masks‖ and the Senior High Youth will be using Rob Bell’s book, "Drops Like Stars." Hopefully this will make for an exciting and fun-filled year!

NSUMC youth attend conference youth events serve on mission trips during the summer. Our high school youth participate in the service organization SSP, and reach out to Native American families on reservations throughout the Western United States.

Senior High Small Group: Small fellowship-discussion group for high school grades that meets on Mondays during the academic school from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Kierland Starbucks.
