2nd & 4th Monday evenings, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Led by Rev. Carl Nicol

“Grief transition” is a term used to describe a group of psycho-social-theological challenges that come to most of us when we transition from painful experiences of loss and/or grief.

This group invites persons who are or have experienced burnout from employment or caretaking; persons in need of critical incident debriefing; persons who are negatively impacted by emotional clutter in their lives due to unresolved grief.

The journey of processing your grief will depend on how you have done it in the past. To do it well (to become as balanced and as fulfilled as the person you were before your loss, or to grow through process and become stronger in your faith, more mature in your character and spirit) takes real work – planned and executed. Join us as we together find that “There Is a Balm in Gilead!”

Class facilitator is the Rev. Dr. Carl Nicol, who has numerous degrees in theology and social work, and has over five decades of experience as social worker, counselor, pastor, hospital chaplain and father. Please contact him at 480-951-2964 or cnicol2@cox.net. The class will meet in the circle table room.

"THERE IS NO LOSS WITHOUT PAIN;
THERE IS NO CHANGE WITHOUT FEAR;
BUT THERE IS NO GROWTH WITHOUT CHANGE.
GRIEF HEALING IS WORK WELL REWARDED."
